ISO 22000 Food Safety Policy
The 22000 Standard requires that Management develop a food safety policy. This is a statement that management will compose that reflects the organizations commitment to providing a safe product.
Stating the goal that the company will continually strive to meet, it will provide a basis for business objectives that support the policy.
Once the food safety policy is established, objectives can be defined that are measurable and that when met will result in meeting the terms of your food safety policy.
Communicate Your Policy
Make sure that everyone in your organization understands your Food Safety Policy and is aware of their role in ensuring that it is met.
